About Us

             Gary Leeman, C.P.A., P.C. has provided litigation support services to the legal profession since it’s inception.  The firm’s services include arbitration, consulting, damage computations, due diligence, expert testimony, mediation, and valuations.  The firm subscribes to several research and technical services to assist in the firm’s efforts.  Conferences dealing with business valuations, divorce, and litigation support are attended each year.  The firm attempts to be cost efficient and thorough in assisting in the settlement of cases.

 

             Gary Leeman, C.P.A., A.B.V., C.M.C. has provided litigation support services to the legal community since 1978.  A member of the AICPA and MACPA, he has served on various committees of those organizations since 1972.  He has served on the MACPA Professional Ethics and Unauthorized Practice Committee  (task force) for over 33 consecutive years.  Mr. Leeman was the founding chairman of the MACPA  Business Valuation and Litigation Support Services Committee.  Amongst other committees he is a former member of the AICPA Professional Ethics Executive Committee Litigation Support Services and Independence Task Force.

                 Theresa Shimansky, CMEA, CSBA, CDFA, has been with the firm since 1995 and has dedicated herself to specializing in Industry and Economic Research.  As Director of Research for the firm she performs internet research for Business Valuations and Forensic matters.

             Theresa is a Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser, a Certified Senior Business Analyst, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst.  She received her BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 1998 and her MA in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix in 2000.  She holds membership in the Institute of Business Appraisers, the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts, the NEBB Institute, and the Society of Business Analysts.

 

              Michele Crivella, C.P.A., has been involved in litigation support services for several years.  He is responsible for reviewing documents and converting the analyses of them into spreadsheets.

             Steven G. Weinberg, C.P.A has assisted for several years in litigation support matters involving accounting.  He performs accounting and tax analyses.

 

             The firm uses outsourcing when the size or complexities of a case requires it.
